Team EQUIstaff owner, Mary Thomas, made her way up to New York and the Belmont Stakes last week to enjoy the races and see an amazing bit of history.
Not only was it a great day at the races, Mary got to watch history being made when Jena Antonucci became the first woman trainer to win the Triple Crown race! Arcangelo took first, winning for Blue Rose Farm, owned by Jon Ebbert and was expertly ridden by jockey Javier Castellano.
While the Belmont Stakes were the main event, Mary also dropped in on Team EQUIstaff’s Goddess Nike who is training with Tom Morley. Nike is training hard and we can’t wait to see her on the track!
